September 2010 — April 2011 McMaster University Single-Point Incremental Forming (SPIF)
[Empirical Research and Implementation]. Hamilton, Ontario

Single-Point Incremental Forming (SPIF) of sheet metal to dynamically produce small batch components.
Empirical exploration of the limits of technology as it applies to non-orthogonal forming, deep drawing, swept surfaces and complex shapes.
Includes design and manufacture of work piece, tool, fixtures, tool-path, and optimized operating parameters.

January 2010 — April 2010 McMaster University McMaster Mini-Baja Racing Team.
Front Suspension and Steering. Hamilton, Ontario

Design and modeling of front end of competition off-road and semiamphibious vehicle.
Constructed from design for participation in the international Baja SAE® Rochester competition 2010.

May 2022 — December 2022 Pack-Smart Inc. Project Engineer Concord, Ontario

Lead clear and timely customer communications, managed project deliverables for both internal and external stake holders at Pack-Smart, as well as at customer sites
Liaised between the customer and internal project team to gather and process documentation, as well as updated the requirements and functional scope throughout the life cycle of the project.
Developed and managed project plans while applying critical thinking in establishing priorities and strategic decision making.
Lead and supported continuous improvements including ERP system related automation and other process development initiatives
Participated in the development and execution of system test plans and test cases including customer acceptance criteria.

December 2021 — May 2022 Pack-Smart Inc. Electro-Mechanical Technologist Concord, Ontario

Planned and executed the installation and commissioning up to the final handover/acceptance of equipment within schedule and budget.
Collaborated with project stakeholders on design reviews, modifications or changes that would impact the overall equipment build and functionality.
Resolved installation issues, root-caused issues and participated in resolution analyses.
Identified potential risks during commissioning, and consequently developed solutions.
Promoted efficient flow of information and prepared commissioning reports and documentation
Trained customer on equipment operation, machine setups and maintenance.

Read and analyzed technical drawings
Excercised problem-solving skills and liaised with engineering regarding design for manufacture.
Assembled various machine modules and participated in their integration into the larger system.
Assessed fabricated material for quality control against technical drawings.
Supported commissioning and operation of machinery for qualification.

Collaborated with a team along the full length of production assembly line of various models of commercial ice cream freezers.
Ensured performance of every unit off the line before being shipped, as well as maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on units returned by the customer.
Communicated effectively with other departments with inquires and implementation of new initiatives and increase efficiency.
Special projects included assembly, preliminary testing and assisting in design revision of prototype units.
